Car Bomb Threat at the White House

According to law enforcement, on Saturday, March 19th 2017, at approximately 11:05PM, a man pulled up to the White House security check point and claimed to have a bomb in his vehicle.
There has been no confirmation about whether the vehicle did contain an explosive device or not, but the White House did immediately raise its security level.
Four hours after initial contact at the security checkpoint, roads were still closed. Shortly after roads were reopened, EOD and security personnel left the scene.
The Secret Service has said the incident is “under criminal investigation”.
Earlier in the day, another man had attempted to gain access to the grounds of the White House by jumping over a bicycle rack. Although he did gain access to the grounds, he didn’t make it to the White House. The man was not carrying any weapons, although he was carrying a document which he wanted to deliver to the White House.
